    Detailed description

    Detailed description

The Rustler 9 are men's freestyle skis from Blizzard.

The newest addition to a Rustler range that has been fully approved by critics in recent years. The Rustler 9 is a new version, narrower than its older brothers the Rustler 10 and 11. This ski is an incredible combination of pure performance and playfulness.

As for shape, with a 94mm waist and a double rocker, the Rustler 9 is a very playful, versatile ski. Very manageable on the piste, whether making wide or short turns, everything happens in the blink of an eye and with disconcerting ease with the Rustler 9. Its lift remains very good and takes off in a flash thanks to an efficient rocker. With a classic camber under the foot and reduced sidecuts compared to other skis in the range, it holds it own on all terrain and will be perfect for spring skiing.

The Rustler 9 has a balanced core made from different woods. Advanced Carbon Flipcore D.R.T. technology has a big impact on the ski's flex: rigid and totally stable underfoot thanks to the presence of a Titanal layer, it's much more playful around the edges, with unidirectional carbon supports which reduce longitudinal rigidity but increase torsional resistance. Tail and tip are therefore much more progressive and playful, whilst remaining stable, so you can express your style in all snow conditions. This also creates incredible handling for such a wide ski, and great comfort so riding is always enjoyable.

A structured base, heel reinforcement and anti-vibration plates finish off this exceptional ski.

With the Rustler 9, Blizzard has added the missing piece to its Freeride range. A ski with a freeride construction and shape, but trimmed in size compared to the other skis in the range. This gives it a high degree of stability under all conditions. This ski is great for perfecting your turns and having fun on the slopes, but will also be able to take on a freeride line or ride in the forest on powdery days.

    Snowleader Review

The newest addition to the Rustler range, the 9 has a structure, just narrower. Following in the footsteps of its big brothers, it is stable ski with carbon/titanium reinforcements, but only in the essential places, which allows it to be playful but also have real freeride foundations. In terms of behaviour, we like how easy it is to pivot and widen a turn.

Typical all-mountain freeride, it even has some freestyle skills with good pop and excellent balance. We love it!

Advantages: Almost everything: stability, versatility, playfulness, manoeuvrability, balance, etc

Disadvantages: We are still looking for one

M 11 TP are alpine and all-mountain bindings by Marker.

These bindings are designed for any intermediate to advanced skier who's looking to push themselves to the limit. Multi-use, they stand out thanks to their power and stability on both soft powder and hard snow.

Their Triple Pivot Compact 2 and Intelligent Backward Release systems cater for the different forces the bindings need to endure. The M 11.0 TP will release if you fall, but will stay in place during hard power transfers.

As with all the brand's bindings, they feature AFD (Anti Friction Device) technology for a reliable, precise release. What's more, the TCX heel support makes them really easy to put on and take off. The M 11.0 TP  bindings are also compatible with GripWalk soles.

    Technology:

    - AFD Gliding Plate: all Marker bindings feature AFD (anti friction device) technology to you can precisely release without being hindered by grime, snow or ice! Adjustment of the AFD can be varied according to the activity, whether it's competive runs, children's activities or cross-country skiing.

    - Triple Pivot Compact 2: a particularly compact jaw with a horizontal spring. Combined with the gliding plate, the integrated gliding elements in the sole holders ensure a very precise release mechanism, typical of the other MARKER bindings.

    - Intelligent Backward Release: differentiates between forces that occur during a fall and forces that occur during a manoeuvre. A spring adjusts the heel support's tension.

    - GripWalk: a copolymer sole with a curved profile. Their convex shape and rubber tread make walking comfortable without compromising their grip. Their integrated rigid pads ensure excellent power transfer and precise release of the binding.
