G-1000® Eco material is made of high quality recycled polyester and organic cotton and impregnated with beeswax. This makes them extremely durable, highly breathable, but also wind, water and dirt proof. G-1000® material is solid, but G-1000® HeavyDuty goes further. Greenland Wax is applied on both sides, to give durability a new dimension. As a result, it is less ventilated than conventional G-1000® and is used for products where strength is more important than ventilation. This results in the reinforcement of materials in areas that are more susceptible to heavy wear and tear and for many backpacks. The G-1000® HeavyDuty Eco S is used for greater flexibility.
