Tactical Foodpack's story

It all started with a former Estonian special forces doctor, the founder of Tactical Foodpack.

During a mission, he and his teammates faced particularly challenging conditions. Their physical and mental health was put to the test and they all drew strength from the memories of their loved-ones, as well as from the precious meal breaks that they took together. This is where a firm belief was born: food plays a hugely important role, for both a physical and mental energy boost. 

In this context, food has to be healthy, delicious and easy to prepare even when conditions are not optimal. With all these criteria in mind and to meet these needs, Tactical Foodpack 100% freeze-dried meals were born.

How to prepare your freeze-dried meal in 4 steps?

1. Open the package and remove the oxygen absorber.
2. Add about 300 ml of hot water: we recommend adding water a little at a time to suit your taste.
3. Stir, close the packet with the zip fastener and wait for about 8 minutes.
4. Open the bag, mix again and add a little water if required. Enjoy straight from the bag.

You can also prepare these meals using a Tactical Foodpack heating bag, with a stove or with a Tactical Foodpack fire pot (an innovative bioethanol-based gel) or on a small flame.
