Made from 7075 aluminium, a benchmark for strength-to-weight ratio, it features a 13 mm diameter that eliminates flex and ensures straight penetration, even in very dense or heavily compacted snow. With a deployed length of 240 cm and 43.5 cm when folded, it combines compactness with an extremely durable structure, tested and recommended by the VDBS (German association of ski and mountain guides).

Designed for maximum operational efficiency during critical search phases, this probe incorporates the quick tensioning system PFA coupled with an ultra-resistant steel cable pull system, ensuring instant, smooth deployment and locking with no mechanical play right out of the Quick-Release pouch. The rubberised handle provides a firm, non-slip grip, even when used with thick or wet gloves. Finally, probing precision is enhanced by a large tip that clears snow to reduce friction along the probe, complemented by depth markings and a visual control system for quick and unambiguous estimation of burial depth.
