Crux Pro Black

The Crux Pro Dark is a ski touring boot for men from Head.

This boot for experts has been designed to keep the weight down on the ascent and ski with rigidity and precision on the descent.

Weighing in at just 1,400g in size 27.5, it's also very comfortable when climbing, with 55° of travel to help you make progress even on the most Difficult slopes, and it's light enough to save energy.
Its flexible tongue allows the foot to move naturally, avoiding unnecessary friction points and preventing the first signs of fatigue.

The shell is made from recycled carbon fibre and combined with East technology Pebax® technology Crux Pro light and precise on the foot. The frame features the famous Dynamic Frame LYT from Head which forms the frame of the shoe and Belays excellent transmission of force and support for maximum responsiveness on the descent.

Its Thermosettable liner remains stable and precise, even on long outings with a lot of positive drop, and provides good support for the foot with its 99mmfit. It also has a sole Vibram® Grip and Adhesion/Grip for walking and approach phases.

Ascent is good, descent is better! That's why, once you're at the top, all you have to do is switch from walking to skiing mode by operating the lever to lock the device and lock the boot forward at 14° +/- 2° .
This incline combined with a flex of 120 gives you a very pleasant balance between precision and comfort for dedicated skiing on the descent.
