The Diract Voice is an avalanche transceiver (D.V.A.) from the brand Ortovox.
As a high-end model, the Diract Voice is equipped with the latest safety innovations.
What makes the Diract Voice unique is its voice-assisted navigation system. In case of switching to search mode, the device clearly and simply guides you through the necessary actions to stay calm and effective in what can be a very stressful situation.
First, it features a clear and ergonomic interface on an extra-large screen. Regarding indications, there are large, clear symbols with 360° victim search directions. The Diract Voice is compact and lightweight. The device weighs only 210 g with a thickness of 2.3 cm, easily fitting into your jacket or trouser pocket. A rubber frame ensures a comfortable grip, and a belt is provided to keep the Diract close to you.
Its use is intuitive and straightforward. An on/off button on the back of the transceiver powers it up. A front button allows you to mark victims in search mode and also switch to Stand-by mode, designed for those managing emergency calls during avalanche searches. Finally, switching between search and transmit modes is clear thanks to an easy-to-use switch, operable even with gloves on.
Lastly, to simplify power management, the Diract Voice features a battery specially adapted for cold temperatures and is directly rechargeable via a USB Type-C cable.
