By placing the red side outwards, the survival blanket will capture the sun’s infrared rays to warm the rescued person, while the silver side will reflect 90% of body heat. In hot conditions, you may want to limit body warming. In this case, place the red side against you so that the silver side reflects the sun’s infrared rays. Remember to allow air to pass through to improve ventilation.
Warning: Do not use during thunderstorms or near incandescent materials. Single-use blanket.
