On the practical side, the Explore 40 offers various storage options, including a dedicated front external pocket for safety gear (shovel, probe), providing quick access in case of emergency, a top pocket for glasses, and a large zipped pocket on the hip belt. A separate compartment has been added at the base of the pack to store skins, rope, or crampons.
This model also features an integrated 500 ml flask sleeve on the left shoulder strap for easy hydration. Additionally, you can use the pole holder, the two ice axe loops, the ski carry system, the snowboard carry system, and the helmet holder, allowing you to transport all your equipment with ease.
