Description

If the Flagship from Jones is a high-performance board with a rigid 8/10 flex, the Flagship Pro 2026 is even more radical, high-performance in every respect and even more rigid with a flex of 10/10.

Its extreme rigidity gives it rock-solid stability, even at very high speeds. The stiffness comes from the Power Core triple density bamboo insert and the Ultra Construction found only on the most advanced boards from Jones. All this is further enhanced by the Ultra Base which will propel you through the snow with minimal friction.

A small but important bonus: the Power Plates technology. It is the only board to have this brand new technology. These are dual density plates (bamboo and rubber) placed at the front and rear of each binding to further reduce vibration and above all to nose provides the the most responsive board of the brand.

All these features and technologies make it perfect for highly technical descents, steep snowboarding and carving with the Traction Tech 3.0.

When it comes to powder, the Flagship Pro is also in its element with its Directionnal Rocker, its directional shape and 3D Contour Base technology. The Float Pack Inserts allows you to ride in super stepback on big days.

The Flagship Pro's Forever Flex and Fusion Carbon constructions are ultra-reactive and long-lasting, so it won't let you down over the runs and seasons. It replaces epoxy with a carbon/wood mix, offering the best reactivity/durability combination ever tested.

PROFIL - DIRECTIONAL CAMBER / ROCKER	Cambre dominant improved with rocker on nose and little or no rocker on tail. The rocker of nose improves floatation and handling in deep snow, while the cambre of the front binding at tail provides excellent edge grip, precise response and confidence-inspiring stability.
SHAPE - DIRECTIONAL	The nose is longer and wider than the tail and the inserts are set back on the back of the board. These features provide more lift in powder.
3D CONTOUR BASE - HIGH 3D CONTOUR BASE	Base 3D Contour centred on freeride with a 7 mm spatula bevel in the nose and 0 to 7 mm spatula bevel in the tail. The bevel of the tip starts just before the contact point.
TRACTION TECH - HIGH TRACTION TECH	Like a serrated knife slicing through the snow, the Traction Tech improves your Grip on the edges by adding multiple points of contact along the length of your board.
NOYAU - POWER CORE	Advanced triple-density wood core made from responsibly harvested bamboo, Paulownia and poplar. Centred bamboo stringers improves durability, pop and torsional rigidity, while Paulownia keeps the Core light and cushioned.

Team review

Au départ, quand on monte sur la Flagship Pro, on a un peu l'impression d'être sur une Flagship de couleur noire. Une fois dans la première pente, on se rend rapidement compte que celle-ci est nettement plus agressive et qu'elle est d'une rigidité qui n'a rien à envier à un bloc de béton.

Elle demande un peu de temps pour être apprivoiser, mais une fois qu'on a compris comment elle fonctionne c'est un bonheur. Vous pouvez faire absolument tout ce que vous désirez. Vous pouvez charger autant que vous voulez, elle vous répondra toujours au doigt et à l'oeil.
