




The Float E2 is an airbag backpack from BCA. It has been specially designed for snowsports.
With a volume of 25 litres, the Float E2 25 is a technical backpack for freeride skiing. As well as being compact, the bag is relatively lightweight, so you'll forget you're wearing it when skiing off-piste. This bag has the perfect volume to store all your gear for a day of skiing, and is also fitted with lightweight and extremely reliable technology!
The Float E2 25 has a back panel, a hip belt pocket, ventilation on the back panel and a curved side access zip. It has a removable carrying system for skis/snowboard, and it also also has a separate compartment to store your shovel and probe. In addition, the bag is equipped with a Stash™ pocket allowing you to easily move around in the snow. You won't have to stop to drink water or change your goggles.
The Float E2 25 features the new generation Airbag from BCA, the Alpride E2, known for its ease of use. The new E2 engine is 40% smaller and 25% lighter than the existing Alpride E1 system, with a 162 litre airbag. Like the E1, the E2 is TSA approved for hassle-free air travel.
In terms of comfort, the Float E2 25 is equipped with padded shoulder straps, an ergonomic belt and a back panel to ensure a perfect fit throughout your day.

Alpride E2 Electric System: The new Float™ E2 system uses an Alpride E2 supercapacitor to store the energy that powers the compressor during deployment. Supercapacitors store and release energy based on magnetic energy rather than a chemical reaction. This means that their performance is much more reliable in cold weather. For the same reason, the energy stored in a supercapacitor is released more quickly when it is activated for deployment
