L'Index Black is a men's snowboard boot from East. Nidecker for experienced to expert freeriders.

The brand's flagship model, this boot is built around an asymmetrical Double Boa®upper that adapts perfectly to your foot and calf. You won't feel any unwanted pressure from it, because it's flexible and forgiving.

Featuring a high quality Exterior flange BFT Vibram® Approach outsole, it combines cushioning with a rarely equalled Grip so you can walk on icy surfaces. The East Midsole is made up of two layers of foam EVA to reduce the shock and vibration associated with uneven terrain as much as possible, which can ultimately be very harmful to feet...

When it comes to insulation, the Interior Lining Diamond Level Wrap Liner offers incredible comfort and support for the foot. It can be warm-formed for a customised fit. What's more, a water-resistant storm cover offers extra protection and prevents your laces from freezing. All this is coupled with a front shield ArmorTech in durable TPU that will protect your feet on the ridgelines.

H4 COILER BOA® FIT SYSTEM	Lacing system consisting of a cable and a reel that creates even tension and facilitates lacing for all-day comfort without weighing down the equipment.
ISOLATION THINSULATE™	3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation (Type EC) is a 100% polyester, mid-swelling insulation featuring fibres include 78% reclaimed recycled polyester. The individual fibres absorb less than 1% by weight of water. Retains most of its insulating properties even in damp conditions. Type EC materials carry the certified bluesign® label and meet the strictest security and environmental criteria as verified by the bluesign® System.
DUAL ZONE BOA® AVEC INTERNAL HEEL-LOCK	Two-part micrometric Lacing system. The tightening on the tongue adjusts the Upper part as well as the Instep Attachments, providing downward force to prevent heel lift. The Boa® side tighten the lower part of the boot for an optimum fit.
3D-MOLDED TRIPLE DENSITY	High-density EVA foam frames the heel and arch of the foot. There are additional Cushioning pads in EVA under the Tail to cushion impact.
BFT VIBRAM® APROACH OUTSOLE	The 5-part BFT Approach outsole uses special high-traction Vibram® rubber for maximum Grip and durability, a high-density EVA midsole with a reinforced shank for superior support and OC-KUSH cushioning in the heel and forefoot for maximum comfort.
OC KUSH	Dynamic shock-absorbing gel cushions are inserted into the outer sole around the heel and forefoot area. This special Cushioning System reduces fatigue and improves comfort.
3D MOULDED TONGUE	The asymmetrical tongue is 3D-moulded and curved towards the medial side, following the naturally raised ridge line of your forefoot to alleviate pressure points and give a more balanced feeling of comfort and support. An anatomically correct, asymmetrical tongue performs better than a regular right tongue.
3D MOULDED END CAP	These toe designs eliminate extra layers and stitching around the toe of the boot to create a durable, sleek design with less bulk and better FlowFit on your foot, and better FlowFit in your bindings.
WATERPROOF SHELLS ARMOR-TECH	TPU shell on the front of the boots to protect the toes.
EXO/SPINE	External reinforcements designed to link the different parts of the boot and provide instant force transfer from heel to toe. It also offers extra rigidity for optimum support, as well as increased durability and impact resistance.
