Designed for unpredictable backcountry conditions, the Nano-Air Ultralight Freeride Jkt Black from Patagonia is a mid-layer that combines technical insulation and weather protection, offering a perfect balance between warmth and breathability.
Designed for ski touring, this jacket is part of the kit Snow Powslayer Freeride kit. It combines the ultralight technology of the platform Nano-Air® with the expertise developed in the field by the Forgeteams, for optimum backcountry performance.
The weather-resistant, recycled polyester ripstop fabric is positioned on the hood and shoulders for targeted protection. The rest of the jacket is made from breathable stretch ripstop, also recycled, with insulation FullRange® insulation in the body, guaranteeing exceptional breathability even at full effort.
The hood Light Touch Expansion, stretchable and adjustable, can be worn with or without a helmet. It slips on easily, even when the jacket is zipped up, for instant protection. The elongated snow-specific cut, combined with an articulated design, ensures great freedom of movement with a rucksack. Two secure hand pockets and a minimalist outside zip pocket provide storage without adding bulk. The slim, streamlined cuffs feature a stretch panel designed to slip easily under gloves.
