The Nitro Doppleganger 2026 splitboard is a touring snowboard for experienced to expert riders who are looking for a splitboard that is easy to climb uphill with and reliable during descents.
Nitro has adapted it's Power Pods technology to its Doppleganger splitboard model that is now also equipped with Hike Pods. They consist of an undulation of the edge at the waist level only. The Hikes Pods provide grip on the inside edge of your bindings and thus limit the lack of grip that splitboards typically have.
But if you've chosen the Doppleganger , you know what happens after each climb! And yes, the real fun begins once you've removed your skins. Ready to drop into the slope, it will float you through freshly fallen powder snow with ease and speed. You will go down 100 times faster than you climbed up!
The Doppleganger will take you higher than the resort's lifts to reach those peaks that you have been dreaming about for a few winters now. This is the perfect splitboard for freeride routes where your board will need to show its handling skills to get you through any dedicated line.
