Hovercraft 2.0 Splitboard 2024

The Jones Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 Splitboard 2025 is a splitboard deck for men and women of a very high level, ideal for backcountry hiking.

True to the Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 Split original model, it has the famous short and efficient shape which offers as much flotation as a longer board. However, its shorter size gives it a precious advantage when going down a narrow path or between trees: it is very manoeuvrable and can easily squeeze through the fir trees. The Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 Split remains a great board, designed for freeriding and offering a huge lift in the powder.

When it comes to putting your skins on with the Quick Tension Tail Clip system and starting the ascent, the Inside & Outside Traction Tech 2.0 corrugated edges provide grip on the inside edge despite their small size. And once again, the shortened board size is favourable for kick turns.

Once you've reached the top, clip on your bindings and off you go to take on the powder and everything else in your path. For added strength, the Ultralight Hovercraft Split 2.0 is reinforced with stainless steel inserts on the nose and tail. In addition, the Topsheet is made of varnished composite wood, which ensures greater absorption of vibrations and shocks. The rocker gives you good lift and reduces the chance of crashing the nose of the board on landings or changes in snow conditions so that you don't get thrown off the front.

This year, the Ultralight Hovercraft Split 2.0 decided to go green as no ink is used on its topsheet, all logos are directly laser engraved onto the wood.
