The Playmaker 101 2027 is a freestyle/backcountry ski from the brand Elan.
As fun as it is high-performing, this model with a 101mm waist features a long and progressive Surf-Rocker. This provides an unprecedented feeling of float and limitless manoeuvrability.
It is built around a laminated wood core that incorporates two ultralight carbon tubes running the full length of the ski. This combination of materials makes the ski more responsive and stable by better absorbing vibrations and optimising torsional stiffness without adding weight.
Its 360° sidewalls with a pyramidal shape and traditional camber underfoot also make it very balanced for transitioning between different terrains. It is agile and light enough for playful manoeuvres as well as for carving your line through a powder field.
