Touring skis - Unisex -
The Agent 2 2027 Blue is a unisex touring ski from the brand Faction.
To start with, the Agent 2 has a fairly reasonable weight of 1420 g per ski (in size 171 cm). Thanks to its ultra-light Karuba core, it performs equally well on ascents and descents. This core provides good flex and absorbs vibrations without adding weight.
The ski is also lightened by carbon strips placed unidirectionally, which bring even more stability, durability, and stiffness in all conditions!
Regarding its sandwich construction, it offers improved edge contact as well as remarkable terrain adaptability.
The Agent 2 also features a heel rocker that provides better floatation and facilitates ski pivoting, while its tips shift the widest part of the ski towards the centre for perfect glide, without the risk of unwanted edge catches.
With its 96 mm underfoot, standard camber, and rockers at tip and heel, the Agent 2 will perfectly accompany you to conquer your favourite spots and enjoy powder turns!
If you are a skier seeking fresh snow and couloirs to make your own tracks away from the crowds, the Agent 2 is made for you!

At Faction, three binding mount options are possible, from the most forward to the most rearward: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, mounts will be done according to the brand’s recommendations, namely Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy, and La Machine; Newschool on Studio.
| KARUBA CORE | The karuba is an extremely lightweight yet very strong wood. This species offers good flex and absorbs vibrations without weighing the ski down, making it ideal for a ski touring core that performs equally well on ascent and descent. |
| XL 2.5 MM EDGES | The 2.5 mm edges are 35% thicker than the already very durable standard 1.8 mm edges. The added steel allows riders to have a ski that will better withstand the "aggressions" linked to certain practices over a longer period. |
| SIDECUT WITH ELLIPTICAL RADIUS | The elliptical radius sidecut features a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii at the front and rear of the ski. The longer radius underfoot allows for quicker and easier pivoting, while the shorter radii enable smooth initiation of turns. These sidecuts are perfectly adapted to a wide variety of ski lengths and turn angles. |
| ULTRA-STRONG SANDBWICH EDGE CONSTRUCTION | This construction is built around reinforcements along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges thus provide the best possible stability and grip when the ski negotiates a turn, while protecting the wood core, edges, and topsheet from potential external impacts and damage. |
| MICRO-CAP CHIP-RESISTANT | The micro cap is a hybrid construction combining premium sandwich edge construction fused with a lightweight and durable cap construction. Thanks to the micro-cap, the sandwich construction delivers exceptional edge hold and torsional stability while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise chip in case of impacts. |
| MOUSTACHE FLEX | Stability at the front and rear of the binding area ensures good edge hold. The soft and progressive flex at the endpiece and tip easily absorbs all bumps. This flex facilitates the initiation and completion of turns. |
| FLAT FREERIDE ENDPIECE | This traditional flat endpiece is designed to offer maximum speed, edge hold, and control when chaining turns at mach 2. The slight added rocker brings a modern touch and this shape will allow you to slash your turns even more easily while preventing any unwanted catching in fresh snow. |
