The Tracer 88 are women's freeride skis from Armada.
The Tracer Series is a range of versatile, agile and playful skis. Very light, these skis have been specially designed to ride in powder snow: they glide smoothly and absorb shocks perfectly!
The Tracer 88 pushes the boundaries of freetouring. Armada created these skis with the aim of re-imagining the skiability of ultra-light touring skis, with a longer radius, a more homogenous flex and maximum stability in its construction. Very light (1225 g per ski in size 172 cm!) and with a medium 88 mm waist, this ski promises great ascents !
Agile and responsive, the Tracer 88 is very manoeuvrable to make nice curves on the way down. Equipped with an all-mountain rocker, it offers a very good bearing capacity in fresh snow and allows easy pivoting.
The Tracer 88 is made with a Karuba core which makes the skis lighter while maintaining stability and agility. A titanal reinforcement placed under the foot completes the construction to bring more power. It is built in a sandwich construction with two layers of rubber that surround a layer of titanium, which allows for better shock absorption.
Also, the Tracer 88 features Adaptive Mesh, which runs along the ski to also improve shock absorption and make the ski more stable and robust without adding unnecessary weight. As you will have understood, this ski allows an extremely fluid ride on all types of terrain, and remains very stable whatever the type of snow.
Thus, the Tracer 88 are skis that are as light as they are high-performing, destined for tourers of a good level, who want to explore the mountains!

Construction:
Karuba core: Karuba wood is the lightest wood used by Armada. It allows for effortless climbs, but remains powerful enough to go down slopes at full speed, whatever the type of terrain. This core makes no compromises between performance and lightness!
All- Mountain Rocker : Tip rocker to make the ski more manoeuvrable and give it good lift in all types of snow.
Titanal reinforcement: Brings power to the ski for outstanding performance.
Adaptive Mesh: This wave-shaped construction runs along the length of the ski to improve shock absorption, making the ski more stable and robust without adding weight. At the tip and heel, this helps to avoid unnecessary rebounds. Underfoot, it filters vibrations from ice, bumps and debris. The smoothness of the glide is optimal!
Le Tracer 88 est un ski innovant, conçu pour le touring ultra-léger, qui sera performant aussi bien en montée grâce à son poids plume, qu'en descente avec son renfort en titanal et une absorption optimale des vibrations. En poudreuse, sa portance est très bonne grâce à ses lignes de côtes généreuses et son rocker en spatule.
