The Ripstick 96 Black Edition 2026 is a freeride ski from the brand Elan.
Equipped with a 96mm waist in the 182cm size and a wide 133mm tip, it is the perfect ally for the most demanding skiers to ride in deep backcountry snow. Its standard dimensions for its intended use also make it agile and versatile across a wide variety of terrains, including groomed pistes.
Built around a Tubelite wood core, it incorporates two ultralight carbon rods along the edges as well as two carbon rods in the centre of the core at the tip and endpiece/hinge mount to stiffen the ski and energise your descents while maintaining excellent stability. These combined Carbon Tech and QuadRod technologies provide better snow feel and significantly improved edge grip. A layer of natural flax fibres has been placed in the tip of the ski to absorb vibrations and better handle varied terrain even at speed.
Finally, it features a race sintered base designed to deliver exceptional glide performance, as well as a Amphibio profile with dedicated left and right skis. The inner edge side is cambered to ensure precision and stability, while the outer edge side with a rocker profile offers forgiveness and progressive weight transfer. Here you have all the ingredients to fully enjoy the experience and achieve excellent descents.
