The Evo 5+ is a top-of-the-range avalanche victim detector (DVA) from Arva that combines performance and compactness to satisfy the new generation of users. Very compact, the Evo 5+ will easily fit into any pocket of your jacket while remaining quickly accessible.
Equipped with a search band width of 50 m, this device will automatically switch back to transmit mode in case of a secondary avalanche during your search. You can also very easily ensure that the whole group has activated their DVA thanks to the Group Check function: simply place the device in proximity search mode.
Finally, in multi-victim situations, this device features a marking function for up to three victims and three antennas to refine search accuracy. You can also rely on the built-in speaker and the turn-back alarm that guides you back on track to find victims quickly and efficiently.
The robust Access 240 probe measures up to 2.40 m and consists of 6 sections of 40 cm each. Its Flash Lock locking system allows instant and precise tensioning. This probe weighs only 190 g. Finally, the Access shovel is effective in all conditions. This shovel measures 64 cm and weighs 490 g.

| SEARCH STRIP WIDTH | The search strip width corresponds to the area scanned by the search device. The larger the search strip width, the greater the area covered by the device. This can be used to compare the performance of different beacons. |
| AUTOMATIC RETURN TO TRANSMIT | During a search, in the event of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmit function automatically switches the device back to transmit mode without user action. The return to transmit occurs either by timer, that is after a delay without user action, or by motion detector, after a delay without device movement. These delays can be configured in the device settings menu. |
