Description

The Stratos 2026 is the ultra versatile board from Jones. It's the ideal board for men who like to do everything (freeride, piste, park...) and who are good at everything.

With its hybrid freeride/freestyle construction, it can be used for both powder and park days.

Its Shape directionnal Double rocker is perfect for riding Powder snow and floating above it. In the same spirit, the High 3D Contour Base technology helps to maintain the board on the surface and facilitates turns in fresh snow as well as on groomed snow The Float Pack allows you to switch to "super stepback" mode on busy days.

The camber Directional rocker coupled to the BComb Carbon Flax Stringer and Core Power Core provides a very good pop. The short sidecut makes it a very enjoyable and maneuverable board that turns quickly on the snow and in the air.

The High Traction Tech allows for an edge grip with lots of bite that will give you the impression of carving a track.

The Stratos uses recycled plastic for the topsheet, recycled steel for the edges and Bio Resin to reduce gas emissions by 33%.

The Stratos is a highly versatile, modern split that will appeal to intermediate to advanced riders.

Please note: In an effort to reduce waste, Jones makes bases in two different colours, that are delivered randomly.

SHAPE - DIRECTIONAL	The nose is longer and wider than the tail and the inserts are set back on the back of the board. These features provide more lift in powder.
PROFILE - DIR. CAMBER / ROCKER	Cambre dominant improved with rocker on nose and little or no rocker on tail. The rocker of nose improves floatation and handling in deep snow, while the cambre of the front binding at tail provides excellent edge grip, precise response and confidence-inspiring stability.
3D CONTOUR BASE - HIGH 3D CONTOUR BASE	Base 3D Contour centred on freeride with a 7 mm spatula bevel in the nose and 0 to 7 mm spatula bevel in the tail. The bevel of the tip starts just before the contact point.
TRACTION TECH - HIGH TRACTION TECH	Like a serrated knife slicing through the snow, the Traction Tech improves your Grip on the edges by adding multiple points of contact along the length of your board.
NOYAU - POWER CORE	Advanced triple-density wood core made from responsibly harvested bamboo, Paulownia and poplar. Centred bamboo stringers improves durability, pop and torsional rigidity, while Paulownia keeps the Core light and cushioned.
TOPSHEET - PREMIUM TOPSHEET	Topsheet Durable, scratch-resistant premium designed to withstand rigorous daily use in extreme conditions.
FIBRES - BIAX FIBERGLASS	Stratifié biaxial fibreglass Manufactured with a Double Layer and Double Directional construction that offers a forgiving yet responsive board feel with a semi-flexible flex torsion and quick energy transfer.
SEMELLE - SINTERED 8000 BASE	Superior quality sintered base material, ultra quick, highly absorbent to wax, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long-lasting base materials in the industry.
BCOMP CARBON FLAX STRINGER	The stringers BComp Carbone/Lin offer the perfect balance of Performance, with Carbon providing incredible pop and Linen absorbing vibrations and reducing emissions by CO2 compared to an all-carbon stringer . Developed in collaboration with the Swiss engineering firm BComp.
FLOAT PACK	Additional set of inserts for a far back position on days with heavy Powder snow.
FLIP-FLOP BASE	Jones models with Flip-Flop bases are manufactured in two basic colours to minimise wastage P-Tex. Orders can be filled with either colour and the colour does not vary according to size.
