Description

The Superscout 2027 is a unisex touring ski from the brand Majesty.

The Superscout is the narrowest ski in Majesty's touring range. Thanks to its ideal balance between performance, power, and lightness, it is a classic all-round touring ski that will accompany you on all your outings.

An accessible model, it is ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers looking to get started in ski touring but who will also be able to exploit it and really enjoy themselves with a bit of skill. Light, fast, and responsive, the weight has been kept very low for a very comfortable ski on the ascent.

In terms of construction, it features a core made of paulownia reinforced with several layers of biaxial and triaxial fiberglass, enhanced by durable poplar striations.

Its rather stiff flex combined with the directional shape and flat endpiece/hinge mount provides stability at high speed and very good behaviour when skiing more challenging variable snow.

The Superscout will be the ideal ski for all those eager for long tours. Its lightness will help you tackle elevation gains effortlessly while maintaining very good qualities on the descent.

CORE Paulownia wood for lightness and responsiveness.
CUT-OFF-TAIL Reduced endpiece length and skier’s position set back for faster and more versatile skis.
FAST BASE The bases are made of P-Tex (polyethylene plastic). Most base materials are followed by a number. This number refers to the molecular weight of the polyethylene. The higher the number, the higher the molecular weight of the P-Tex, indicating a better and more durable base. Majesty uses a high-quality IS 7200 base.
TEXTOLITE PLATE

A reinforcement material sheet (fibreglass fabric impregnated with epoxy) layered above the core to support the central part of the ski.

FRONT ROCKER

The rocker is the curve of the front or rear part of the ski when viewed from the side. In other words, the rocker refers to the arched section of the ski that extends from the contact point with the surface to the tip or rear end. Depending on the length and shape of the rocker, it can be called an early rise rocker, flat camber rocker, or elliptical rocker. The rocker facilitates spins in powder and provides a feeling of freedom and forgiveness. It improves flotation and allows effortless all-terrain skiing.

MOUNTING SKINS The ski endpieces are equipped with specially designed holes to allow precise placement of skins and reduce the possibility of the rear clip slipping during ascent.
CAMBER Camber describes the curve of a ski when viewed from the side. Skis with camber have a midsection that arches slightly off the snow. Depending on the length and height of the camber, it can be distinguished as traditional camber or flat camber (zero camber). Camber provides elasticity, flexibility, precision, responsiveness, good edge control, and effective skidding.

Team review
