The Wingman 86 Ti 2027 is an all-mountain ski from the brand Elan.
Remarkably versatile thanks to its shape, this ski combines a mid-width waist of 86mm and a standard camber underfoot for solid edge hold on hard snow, with a wide 132mm tip featuring progressive rocker that greatly enhances flotation and manoeuvrability in deep snow.
Constructed with a laminated wood core, the Wingman is responsive, durable, and efficiently transfers the skier’s energy to the edges. Wood remains a fairly flexible material that also excels at absorbing vibrations to provide a smoother glide over a wide variety of terrain. This Ti model is reinforced with a titanium layer bonded to the core surface to maximise the ski’s dynamism as well as its durability. Titanium makes the ski much more demanding to ski, which is why this version is aimed at advanced to expert skiers.
Finally, it features a race sintered base designed to deliver exceptional glide performance, as well as an Amphibio profile with dedicated left and right skis. The inner edge side is cambered to ensure precision and stability, while the outer edge side with rocker profile offers forgiveness and progressive pressure transfer.
