Made from 7075 aluminium, a benchmark in strength-to-weight ratio, it features a 12.7 mm diameter that ensures straight penetration, even in very dense or heavily compacted snow. With a deployed length of 280 cm and 44 cm when folded, it combines compactness with an extremely durable structure, tested and recommended by the VDBS (German Association of Ski and Mountain Guides).
Designed for maximum operational efficiency during critical search phases, this probe incorporates the PFA quick tension system coupled with an ultra-resistant steel cable pull system, ensuring instant, smooth deployment and locking without mechanical play as soon as it leaves its case. The accuracy of probing is enhanced by a large tip that evacuates snow to reduce friction along the probe, complemented by a 1.5 m depth marking and a visual guidance system for quick and unambiguous estimation of burial depth.
