Made from 7075 aluminium, a benchmark for strength-to-weight ratio, it features a 12.7 mm diameter that ensures straight penetration even in very dense or heavily compacted snow. With a deployed length of 320 cm and 44 cm when folded, it combines compactness with an extremely durable structure, tested and recommended by the VDBS (German association of ski and mountain guides).
Designed for maximum operational efficiency during critical search phases, this probe incorporates the quick tension system PFA coupled with a replaceable steel cable pull system, ensuring instant, smooth deployment and locking without mechanical play right from its case. Survey accuracy is enhanced by a large replaceable tip that clears snow to reduce friction along the probe, complemented by a 1.5 m depth marking and a visual guidance system for quick and unambiguous estimation of burial depth. The probe is extendable and will adapt to all your needs.
