These Recon 100 MV are men's alpine skiing ski boots from the brand K2.

Range Recon :

A revolution is underway with this range, Recon which significantly reduces the weight of alpine ski boots, making them even more agile. The weight of these very lightweight alpine skiing ski boots is 1650g. To achieve this, K2 has developed a new type of shell Powerlite Shell, based on the principle of providing reinforcements in vulnerable and strategic areas whilst streamlining less critical sections. It may seem like simple logic, but K2 actually carries out precision work by using four different densities of TPU. All in all, it strikes the perfect balance between agility, power and comfort.

These boots Recon are designed for high-performance use, as they offer incredible power and support, achieved thanks to their renowned shell and the high-density foam padding in the liners.

As well as having a low weight, the shoes in the range feature a number of innovative features. The Fastfit Instep softens the upper of the shoe to make the fitting incredibly easy. Struggling to get into your shoes on a cold February morning will be nothing more than a distant memory. As for the Energy Interlock technology, it does away with traditional rivets to give the Recon a more progressive and responsive flex.

And as one piece of good news can lead to another, the Powerlite shells and liners –Precisionfit / Luxfit or Powerfit Pro those integrated into all the shoes in the range – are fully Thermosettable, so you can customise your shoes to the full.

This version Recon 100 features a premium-quality boot Luxfit Pro, with a pre-shaped ankle and malleolus area for a comfortable fit right from the first time you fit it. The inner foam is rigid and precise for maximum control. The40mm strap further improves support and promotes a dynamic relanch. These boots are ideal for skiers at intermediate to advanced levels looking for excellent comfort without compromising on performance.

The MV stands for Medium Volume ‘ medium volume’ with a metatarsal width of 100 mm, offering excellent precision without ever compromising on comfort. The perfect balance between responsiveness and a comfortable fit.
