The Ripstick 88 Black Edition 2027 is a men's ski from the brand Elan designed for all-mountain skiing and aimed at advanced skiers, offering a perfect balance between responsiveness and lightness for optimal control on all terrains.
Its construction features a Tubelite Woodcore combining laminated wood reinforced by two ultra-light carbon tubes running the full length. This technology ensures excellent torsional rigidity and powerful rebound, while reducing weight for enhanced maneuverability and a progressive flex suited to demanding skiers.
The ski is reinforced with UD Carbon bands along the edges, carbon rods parallel to the sidecut, as well as SST – Slanted Sidewall Technology for rapid power transmission and exceptional edge grip. The layer of flax fibre in the tip effectively absorbs vibrations, ensuring a smooth and stable ride even at high speed. Its sintered base offers high performance glide on varied snow.
