60 days to change your mindDeveloped in collaboration with Sage Kotsenburg, the Sky Pilot from K2 Snowboard is a board designed to move with agility through technical terrain, forests, and deep snow.
Thanks to a width slightly above average and a medium flex, this board offers an excellent balance between stability, maneuverability, and control. Its 3D contour at the tips reduces contact points with the snow and facilitates turning, particularly appreciated when conditions become deep or uneven.
This geometry works in conjunction with the Carbon Y-Beam, which reinforces pop and stability at the tail while promoting a progressive transmission of energy towards the front. The result: a precise and grippy board, capable of remaining stable without becoming excessively stiff in torsion. Thanks to VolumeShift™ technology, it is recommended to choose the Sky Pilot 3 to 5 cm shorter than your usual length.

Made from bamboo, poplar, and paulownia, the S1 core takes full advantage of the specific properties of each wood species. Bamboo stringers running from tip to endpiece provide dynamism, durability, and cushioning underfoot, while lightweight paulownia is used in the centre, tip, and endpiece to reduce rotational inertia. Underfoot, poplar and bamboo are arranged at a 30° angle to reinforce the structure, amplify responsiveness during edge changes, and optimise pressure distribution along the edge. |
