| GORE-TEX® ePE | The ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane in the new GORE-TEX® products marks a key step towards responsible performance, delivering highly durable and high-performing products designed for long lifespan. The brand-new GORE-TEX® ePE membrane is lightweight, thin, yet strong. To create a GORE-TEX® product, the membrane is combined with carefully selected fabrics, such as recycled fabrics, yarn-dyed or undyed***. * Contributes to Gore Textiles’ goal of eliminating environmentally concerning PFCs from the lifecycle of its consumer products. Here, this is achieved through the use of non-fluorinated materials. ** Thanks to the use of a new lower-mass membrane and the selected textile(s) for laminates (Higg MSI). *** Depending on the laminate used. |
