The Vertrail 16 is a unisex mountaineering backpack from Deuter. This ultra-compact but perfectly equipped bag is aimed at mountaineers looking for speed and who want to be able to access all their equipment quickly.

With a volume of 16L and a waterproof membrane, it lets you take your essential equipment on fast outings and protects it effectively from the elements. The roll-up closure on the top of the bag also allows you to adapt the size of your bag to your contents.

With its trail vest-style carrying system, the Vertrail 16 has a mesh back and wide shoulder straps for a stable, body-hugging fit. This gives you excellent freedom of movement on your faster expeditions.
Although light and minimalist, the Vertrail 16 has numerous attachments and storage systems that will make your life easier during your outings. There are multiple pockets on the shoulder straps, including two for hydration flasks, as well as attachments for ice axes, walking poles and a helmet.
