The wool used meets the standard ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE for fair trade wool. It comes from sheep farms that are monitored and operate in accordance with species-specific standards. It is pleasantly soft, easy to care for and has the capacity to naturally regulate humidity and temperature levels.

Lyocell - Tencel®

Lyocell is a hybrid fibre manufacturing process that is far more environmentally friendly than those used for modal or Viscose, in which almost all the chemicals used are recycled. Lyocell is the generic name for both the manufacturing process and the fibre. Tencel® is the brand name of the Lyocell marketed by the company Lenzing AG. It Tencel® is made from eucalyptus sourced from PEFC-certified forests, as these trees grow quickly without the need for pesticides, fertilisers or irrigation.
