There are two types of MTB shoes: shoes for clipless pedals and shoes for flat pedals. The Snowleader mountain bike experts have selected a range of shoes based on the following criteria: rigidity, weight, durability, ventilation, type of sole and fastenings for different purposes.
Choosing the right MTB shoes
All-mountain, downhill and enduro mountain biking all require different mountain bike shoes. DH shoes are fully reinforced for optimal protection. The soles and heels are specially designed to absorb any shocks. The lacing system is equally important to ensure the feet are well supported. Enduro shoes are more rigid and less flexible to provide greater protection. However, the soles are flexible for easier pedalling. These shoes are designed to last a long time without getting any less comfortable.
