It has a hot-forged steel head made in Italy, which makes it highly durable over time and gives it better inertia for driving the bevelled blade tip into ice.
The slightly curved G-Boneshaft and theAir Tech Evolution T slight curve under the blade are ideal for improving grip and anchorage in snow or ice. In addition, the lower part of the handle is covered with rubber for a better grip.
The Air Tech Evolution T is, like other ice axes from Grivel, certified CE.
