Freeride skis - Unisex -
The ARV 116 JJ UL 2027 is a unisex freeride ski from the brand Armada, designed for expert skiers seeking maneuverability and lightness in all snow conditions.
Its construction is based on a Caruba wood core, the lightest in the range, which ensures excellent dynamism and high responsiveness while significantly reducing the ski’s weight. This sustainable wood, sourced from fast-growing trees, guarantees optimal longevity. The LAMINATE MATRIX technology precisely orients the fiberglass fibres to control flex and torsional stiffness, thus offering a lively, forgiving, and responsive ski with perfect power transmission.
The base incorporates Smear Tech technology with 3D bevelled tips, which limits catchiness in chopped-up snow and facilitates centring in powder. The Lightweight Edge edges, light and durable thanks to a heat treatment, contribute to dynamic performance while ensuring excellent durability. The double rocker/standard camber profile combines optimal floatation in soft snow with effective grip on hard snow.
The ARV 116 JJ UL 2027 invites you to push your limits, offering stability and agility to explore all terrains with confidence and pleasure.

Composition :
- Caruba wood core
| FREERIDE ROCKER | Rocker at the tip and endpiece with additional tapering for excellent manoeuvrability in soft snow. Traditional camber underfoot ensures excellent edge grip as well as great stability on hard snow. |
| CARUBA CORE | The Caruba wood core is the lightest in the range. It offers excellent dynamism, high responsiveness, and significantly reduces the ski’s weight while maintaining very good performance. It is also the most sustainable wood used by Armada thanks to its fast growth. |
| SMEAR TECH | A 3D bevelled base at the extremities (tip and endpiece) provides unique sensations regardless of snow conditions. Less prone to catching in chopped snow, ensuring self-centering in powder and eliminating any risk of catching on take-offs, Smear Tech technology allows you to float effortlessly whether sliding forwards, backwards, left or right. |
| LAMINATE MATRIX | The specific orientation of the fibreglass fibres controls flex and torsional stiffness to create a lively, forgiving, and responsive ski with excellent power transmission. |
| LIGHTWEIGHT EDGE | Lightweight, heat-treated edges designed to limit the ski’s weight while maintaining excellent durability and dynamic performance. |
