The KIP is the winter's must-have item. It allows your loved ones to track your location in real time and enables you to send them an emergency alert at the touch of the central button. Another standout feature of the KIP is its capacity to remain detectable even when you’re traversing areas with no mobile coverage. In fact, emergency services are equipped with tracking technology that allows them to locate you quickly and accurately, even several kilometres away from where you are in distress.
This beacon can communicate over two different types of network (radio and GSM), and with other KIP devices within a range of up to 600 metres , viewed from a single point. Simple yet robust, it can withstand not only water jets (IP65 standard) but also temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +60 °C. To take exploration to the next level, a waterproof cover is available as an optional extra, allowing the device to remain submerged at depths of up to 2 metres for one hour.
There are two modes available for two output styles. The first is the ‘on-the-fly’ mode Incognito: when you set off on a whim, just take your [device] with KIP you, and if there’s a problem, your loved ones will be alerted via the radio network. The second option is the 'Live' mode Veillé: set your track and estimated travel time in advance within the Application so that your friends and family can follow your journey in real time. If you’ve also brought your phone with you, your location will also be shared via the network GSM.

A KIP subscription gives you access to:
- In standby mode and sharing your location with your loved ones
- Sending distress alerts to your loved ones
- Organising group outings
Without a subscription, the Application's features will be limited, but your KIP beacon will continue to transmit and can therefore be picked up by the emergency services.
