O-MATTER®	" O-Matter® " is a plastic alloy developed by Oakley. The result is an extremely lightweight material that is very comfortable and has high durability and resistance to impact and weather conditions.
UNOBTAINIUM®	This rubber, developed by Oakley in the 1980s, has the distinctive feature that its grip improves in the presence of moisture (water, sweat). This material is used for the inserts on the temples and the nose plates.
Polarized	Glare is caused by what is known as polarized light. This indirect light comes from the sun reflecting off a shiny surface such as water or snow. Polarized lenses combat this glare from the sun by blocking the dazzling rays whilst allowing the light that carries information to pass through, much like a Venetian blind.
