TheExogen 2 brand's Wechsel is a two-person Bivouac and hiking tent designed for adventurers seeking lightness and strength during their three-season expeditions.

This self-supporting dome tent features an optimized design with two entrances and two apsides for easy access and storage of material. Its single 2.7 m² room offers a comfortable space whilst remaining compact, with a height of 100 cm for added comfort. Itsultra-lightness is a major advantage, with a weight of just 1.8 kg – below the threshold for a two-person tent – making it ideal for keeping the load to a minimum on long hikes. It is made from 20D Ripstop Nylon with a Silicone coating, a wear- and abrasion-resistant material that ensures durability and protection from the rain thanks to its 3000 mm waterproof rating. The floor, made from 30D Ripstop Nylon with a PU coating, provides reinforcement in terms of waterproofing and strength at ground level.

The DAC Featherlite NFL aluminium hoops provide a stable, lightweight frame, whilst the guy ropes Dyneema® offer excellent durability without adding weight to the tent. Zips YKK® designed specifically for tents ensure a reliable and durable seal. For added comfort, the interior doors feature inserts with mesh panels to ensure good ventilation, and integrated pockets make it easy to organise your gear.

Its DWR treatment provides effective protection against moisture, and the taped seams provide reinforcement for its waterproofing. Supplied with its own storage bag, this tent is the perfect choice for discerning hikers looking to combine performance with lightness.
