It can absorb one third of its weight in the form of water vapour, its heat release prevents the sensation of cooling, and even when wet the garment remains warm... Wool fibres are naturally resistant to mechanical wear, get dirty very little, and are antibacterial, significantly reducing unpleasant odours as well as the need for washing. Like all natural materials, merino wool is biodegradable. |
