The Gea RS is a women's ski touring boot from Scarpa.

The famous model from Scarpa is back this year with the same great features: incredible lightness, travel and skiability.

The Gea RS is designed for those looking for comfort when climbing, with a boot that will put the best freeride ski boots to shame with its downhill performance. A boot for good to very good skiers who want a boot that gives them real sensations and guarantees great downhill performance.

The Gea RS is made up of a bi-injection shell made of Carbon Grilamid LFT® and Grilamid® for an excellent balance of weight and rigidity. Its construction saves weight, as less material has been used in places where it is not necessary. To keep feet dry, breathability is essential and this has always been a challenge in ski boots.

The cuff of the boot is made from Grilamid BIO® an eco-friendly compound that reduces the ecological impact of your shoe while improving its rigidity and elasticity. The release system is very simple, giving you 61° of total cuff rotation (37° towards the back, 24° forwards) for a very fluid ride. In terms of comfort and fit, the Intuition Cross Fit Pro liner is high quality thanks to a reinforced tongue density, a refined rear flex and a smooth Lycra on the top of the rear of the liner to make it easier to put on.

The Vibram Cayman LT sole offers excellent durability as well as good grip when you've got your skis in your bag in search of a challenging couloir. The Power Strap Plus and the Thor Buckle are much easier to use than traditional buckles and straps, so you won't have to take your gloves off in the coldest conditions. Practical... and less heavy!

Equipped with Reccotechnology, the Gea RS can save your life if you fall victim to an avalanche.

Of course, the Scarpa Gea RS has Low Tech inserts to go with the lightest touring bindings, but is also compatible with freetouring bindings.

It will delight excellent skiers who want to experience the joys of backcountry skiing while touring.
