Description

The Harfang 96 2026 is a versatile freeride skiing ski for men from the brand Zag designed for experienced to expert skiers.

With a waist width of 96 mm , it has been designed for both off-piste fun and carving the first tracks on untouched snowfields, as well as carving on the slopes. In addition, it features a poplar wooden core and a multi-axial fibreglasslayer. This construction gives it performance, great stability and optimal gliding comfort.

This ski also features a fairly light double rocker that forgives small mistakes and improves both comfort and lift-off on days of powder snow.

The Harfang 96 is for skiers looking for a ski that performs well in Powder snow but can handle all types of terrain.

SHAPE MULTI-SHELF A method of designing skis that allows the radius to be varied in several independent zones (front, middle, rear). This allows for a very short radius underfoot (increased handling) while maintaining forgiving tips in difficult snow conditions.
SHAPE IN 5 POINTS A specific shape that increases the handling of skis without significantly increasing rocker values (which can cause vibrations). This is based on the variation in the longitudinal position of the widest points of the ski: the closer the widest points of the ski are to the centre, the more the ski will turn short and be playful.
CONSTRUCTION HEAVY DUTY The best compromise between bending and torsional rigidity. Composed of a double multi-axial layer of fibreglass, the aim is to make the skis effective in all types of snow. Derived from the legendary H-112, and having proven itself under the feet of our best riders, the Construction Heavy Duty provides skiers with maximum reliability and security. Lightweight for greater floatation off-piste, yet rigid for making the most of powder days, this construction makes the ski grippy on hard snow so you can link together turn after turn!
SEMI CAP This semi-cap sandwich construction provides optimal force transmission throughout the ski and gives the skier all the adhesion/grip they need on the hardest snow. The durability of the skis is also extended thanks to the edges ABS (increased durability against cold and impact).
Team review
