Technologies:
Connectivity :
Heart rate sensor mode: Share your heart rate with training applications, gym equipment and bike computers. Simply select a sport profile on your watch to start your workout, then sync your watch with a Compatible device. Your heart rate is displayed in real time on your watch and on the equipment you’re using during your workout.
Outdoor sports and sailing:
Global navigation satellite systems: Train with the best geolocation solution, wherever you are in the world. The integrated GPS works with the international satellite navigation systems Glonass and Galileo, as well as with the regional satellite navigation system QZSS, which covers East Asia and Oceania. This means you have access to data on speed, distance and route that is precise, wherever you are in the world. Assisted GPS data provides quick position correction and tells your watch the expected positions of the satellites, enabling you to receive signals within seconds, wherever you are and even in difficult conditions.
Return to square one : The ‘Return to Start’ function guides you back to your starting point via the shortest possible route (as the crow flies). It shows your location and an arrow pointing in the direction you need to go, as well as the straight-line distance to your destination.

Sleep and well-being:
Sleep Plus Stages™ : A good night’s sleep is essential for your health and well-being. When you sleep, your body goes through cycles consisting of three stages: light sleep, deep sleep and REM sleep. The Sleep Plus Stages™ feature automatically records the duration and quality of your sleep (Sleep Score). It also shows the time spent in each phase during the night. Tracking your sleep helps you identify factors during the day that may have a negative impact on your sleep. It also allows you to analyse your sleep patterns over the long term.
Night-time skin temperature : The Night-time Skin Temperature measurement function records changes in the temperature measured at the surface of the skin on your wrist whilst you sleep. It then compares this value with your 28-day reference value and shows how it differs from your usual range.
Serene™ : Deep Breathing is a simple and effective tool for managing stress, building resilience and improving concentration. Serene™ guides you and helps you breathe at a slow, steady pace to synchronise your heart rate with your breathing rhythm – six breaths per minute, the optimal breathing rate for blocking your body’s stress response.
Training and recovery
Energy sources : Find out how much of each type of energy source your body uses during your workout. This data is broken down by category (carbohydrates, fats and proteins) and shown as a percentage of total calories consumed at the end of the session. Knowing the proportion of each type of energy source you used during your training session helps you understand how different intensities affect your energy use. You can also see how your primary energy source changes over the course of a long training session.
Weekly summary : Would you like to see all your weekly training statistics at a glance? No problem! The weekly summary brings together all your training data from the last 7 days and can be viewed directly on your Watch. You have access to feedback that takes into account the time you’ve spent training, as well as your training history, Programme and short- and long-term statistics. This allows you to track your progress and compare your current fitness level with that of previous weeks.
Swimming measurements : Easily track your swimming performance with automatic detection of your stroke style, distance covered, pace, arm movements and rest periods. Improve your swimming technique over time, both in the pool (SWOLF score) and in open water.
Running programme: Choose one of the four races (5,000 metres, 10,000 metres, half marathon or marathon) and access a personalised training programme tailored to your goals. Your personalised running programme is tailored to your training history and your current fitness level. The programmes range from 9 weeks to 20 months, depending on the choices made and the Race being prepared for. Each running programme consists of three phases and includes five different types of run, including interval training and long runs. But don't panic! Your Polar device guides you through each exercise and provides feedback on every training session.
Step counter : Counting your steps is a good way of finding out whether you’re getting enough movement to stay healthy. The more steps you take each day, the closer you get to your fitness goals and the more you can improve your health. It’s easy to count your steps when you go for a walk, but you also take plenty of steps during your daily activities. Thanks to their 3D digital accelerometer, Polar watches track every movement and display the number of steps you take in real time.
Periodic table : Most athletes are only in peak condition twice a year. The Polar Flow training plan allows you to plan and customise your training season, whether it’s a period of base training or preparation for the competitive season. You can set weekly training volumes with time or distance targets, plan targeted training sessions, and easily create individual sessions or training goals for each sport.
Training objectives : Plan your training sessions in advance with personalised training goals, then add them to your training diary. When you’re training, your device guides you through your planned session, so you can focus fully on your workout. You can create interval training sessions with different power, speed or heart rate targets, or simply set training goals such as ‘burn 700 kcal’ or ‘run for 30 minutes’. Your device alerts you when you need to speed up or slow down, so that your workout goes to plan.
Voice guidance : Stay focused and minimise distractions during your workouts, thanks to real-time feedback delivered through your headphones or the speakers connected to your phone. The Voice Guidance feature allows you to receive audio alerts when you reach a certain distance, complete a lap, achieve a training goal, switch heart rate zones, and much more. Instead of constantly having to look at the screen to check your progress, you can simply listen to key data whilst continuing to enjoy your music or follow your favourite podcast.*The voice guidance feature requires an active connection to the Polar Flow mobile application.
Exercise and rest guide: The Exercise-Rest Guide analyses your heart rate during the exercise and rest phases of a training session, enabling it to provide you with personalised advice on the best time to resume exercise. Specially designed for high-intensity strength training sessions, and ideal for heavy multi-joint strength exercises, it automatically detects your highest heart rate whilst performing a set. The algorithm monitors your heart rate whilst you rest and lets you know when you have recovered enough to start the next set.
Activity :
24/7 monitoring : Your body is made to move. Regular physical activity is therefore essential for your health and general well-being. Polar watches encourage you to lead an active lifestyle. To do this, they set you a daily activity goal, based on your personal data and the activity level selected in the settings, and automatically track your activity throughout the day. After being inactive for too long, you’ll receive a small reminder encouraging you to get up and move around. Your daily activity goal is shown as a circle that gradually fills up until you reach 100%.
