The Instinct is designed for advanced to expert climbers seeking a versatile shoe for outdoor climbing. It is the stiffest version in the range.
The upper is made of microfibres with TPU reinforcements for good support and minimal stretch of the shoe. The sole rubber is the sticky Vibram® XS Edge rubber. This stiff rubber offers good durability properties but will also allow you to hold more easily on the small crimps you will encounter.
On the fit side, there is a lace running along the entire shoe for a precise fit that optimally wraps the instep for maximum sensitivity. With a moderately cambered, asymmetrical shape and a fine, grippy toe box, the signature of the Instinct range, this shoe is really very precise. The endpiece/hinge mount, covered in rubber for increased grip in heel hooking and compression, pushes strongly forward to provide incredible grip and power.
