The Instinct VSR is designed for advanced to expert climbers seeking a versatile shoe.
At the request of competitors sponsored by Scarpa, the brand decided to revisit the shoe with the aim of producing a more flexible model. The materials of the shoe are similar but adjusted to allow greater sensitivity during use. The sole rubber has also been revised with the use of Vibram® XS Grip 2 rubber.
The shoe features a Velcro strap and an elastic sleeve that optimally wraps the instep for maximum sensitivity. With a more arched shape while remaining quite flexible and a fine, grippy toe, it is a truly very precise shoe. The endpiece, surrounded by rubber for increased grip in hooking and compression, pushes strongly forward to provide incredible hold and power.
