The Jorasse GTX by Meindl is a men's boot for long-distance technical hiking.
The Jorasse GTX is a high mountain boot for the most extreme conditions, reliable in all situations and on the most critical terrain. Perfectly compatible with crampons, to be used on both rocks and ice.
The upper of the Jorasse GTX is made from microfibre fabric with mesh inserts and is flexible enough to offer excellent wearing comfort.
The lacing extends far in the forefoot, guaranteeing excellent support and contact with the shoe, which is particularly important when ascending.
The special loops allow quick and effortless lacing. A wide asymmetrical stone guard protects the foot and upper of the shoe.
The stone guard is more important on the inside of the shoe to provide better protection when ascending.
The Gore-Tex® lining ensures good waterproofing and breathability while the Meindl Multigrip 3 sole by Vibram absorbs shocks.
For many years, Meindl has been in charge of an extremely broad programme responding to the every need of mountaineering enthusiasts - from low-cut light climbing shoes, to mountain boots completely compatible with crampons. The models in Meindl's Alpine range bring together extreme lightness and great strength.
Note: This boot is used with semi-automatic crampons, as the overhang is only present on the back of the boot.
