The M Mission Alpine Shell Black Rye is a men's mountaineering jacket from the brand Black Diamond, designed to withstand extreme conditions in the mountains and during ice climbing.

Made with the main fabric Spectra® Ripstop 40D, combining 88% nylon and 12% polyethylene, this jacket features the BD.dry™ membrane, a waterproof, breathable and windproof technology that effectively protects against rain, snow, and wind. Its three-layer construction with bi-directional stretch ensures great freedom of movement, while fully taped seams and YKK® Aquaguard® zips guarantee maximum waterproofness. Its PFC-free durable water repellent treatment contributes to improved water resistance while reducing environmental impact. Its manufacture using recycled materials helps reduce water consumption and CO2 emissions.

Practical and functional, this jacket is equipped with an adjustable hood with a visor incorporating RECCO® technology for enhanced safety. It features multiple secure pockets, including two chest pockets with internal compartments, two hand pockets compatible with a harness, as well as two internal storage pockets. Underarm ventilation zips and adjustable cuffs with Velcro® allow optimal temperature regulation. The hem is also adjustable for enhanced protection against infiltration.
