The carabiner locks automatically : to open it, simply twist the gate and press the carabiner's release button. This closure Keylock eliminates the ‘hook’ nose and makes it easier to use the carabiner with one hand, providing better finger grip, which enhances security. Finally, the Nomad has a fairly big opening, making it easier to connect to anchors and other cables, and allowing ropes to pass through more easily.
