Freeride skis - Women -
The Sheeva 9 2027 Blue / Teal is a women's freeride ski from the brand Blizzard.
The Sheeva 9, narrower compared to its bigger sisters the Sheeva 10 and 11, is an incredible blend of pure performance and playful character.
In terms of shape, with a 96 mm waist and a double rocker, the Sheeva 9 is a very versatile and playful ski.
Extremely manoeuvrable on piste, it is driven with liveliness, whether in carved or skidded turns, in long arcs or short turns, everything happens in the blink of an eye and with disarming ease. Its float remains very good and planing will happen instantly thanks to an effective rocker.
With a classic camber underfoot and reduced sidecut compared to other skis in the range, it is a safe bet on all terrains and will excel in spring skiing.
The Sheeva 9 features a balanced core made from different woods, the TrueBlend Free Woodcore, which greatly influences the flex: stiff and seriously stable underfoot thanks to the presence of a Titanal layer W.S.D. FluxForm Freeride, it is much more playful at the tips with unidirectional carbon reinforcements that reduce longitudinal stiffness but increase torsional stiffness.
The tip and endpiece/hinge mount are therefore much more progressive and playful while remaining stable, allowing you to express your style regardless of snow conditions. This also provides unmatched manoeuvrability for such a wide ski and good comfort, because riding should always be a pleasure.
A structured base, a reinforcement in the endpiece/hinge mount and anti-vibration plates complete the features that make this ski exceptional.
With the Sheeva 9, Blizzard fills the missing piece in its freeride range. A ski with freeride construction and shape, but scaled down in dimensions compared to other skis in the range. This gives it rock-solid stability in all conditions. The ski is excellent for carving turns and having fun on piste, but it is also capable of taking a freeride line or riding in the trees on powder days.

| TRUEBLEND FREE WOODCORE | - PERFECTLY BALANCED FLEX We have now designed a Trueblend wood core specifically for our freeride category skis. It combines beech and poplar – two types of wood known for performance – with paulownia to be lightweight yet highly efficient. The result: The right flex to meet all touring needs in a lighter format. - ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCE The Trueblend Free Woodcore specifically positions three different wood densities to form a wood core designed to optimise the ski’s flex and provide a feeling of smoothness and balance. This blend of different wood densities creates three distinct flex zones: a softer flex zone at the tip and tail, which facilitates turn initiation and release; a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding, which helps provide confidence and control; and finally, a stiffer flex zone in the centre, under the binding, which guarantees perfect grip and stability. The Trueblend Woodcore is designed to deliver just the right amount of what you need — performance, control, and confidence — to do what you want, when you want, anywhere on the mountain. |
| W.S.D. FLUXFORM FREERIDE | The FluxForm is designed to work in perfect harmony with the Trueblend Wood Core. Like its core, the FluxForm is specifically dimensioned for each model. The tips are tapered for perfect flotation, and the endpiece/hinge mount is wider for greater support during fast powder turns and cliff landings. |
| W.S.D. CONSTRUCTION (W2W) | The “Women Specific Design” is at the heart of our international Women to Women (W2W, “by women, for women”) programme. Product excellence is a founding element of our brand, and we continuously work to ensure our products are designed, drawn, tested, and retested with the support of our W2W team. The goal is to ensure that the skis and boots we design deserve the W2W logo, as each product has a purpose and specific relevance for our female audience. |
