Rando 8 mm Bleu

The Rando 8mm brand's Beal rope is designed for hikers undertaking long hikes at high altitudes.

You can use any type of dynamic rope: a Single rope, a Double rope, or a Twin rope. Rope-up in single file is almost universal. The method Beal involves using a length of twin rope. In order to make the dynamic performance data for this rope more realistic, Beal decided to provide performance figures that more closely reflect its actual use than those for a Twin rope tested as a single strand. Consequently, the chosen fall factor is limited to 0.8, but with a load of 80 kg on a single strand, and the impact force is measured under the same conditions.

This rope has a diameter of 8 mm and has a weight of 37 g /m, making it compact yet reliable when you need it! It also features markings every 12 metres to make it easier to tie in.
