60 days to change your mindThe Starling Eco Dry 8,2Mm Pink brand's Edelrid is a Double and Twin rope ideal for mountaineering.
This dynamic rope benefits from a hydrophobic treatment ECO DRY that ensures excellent durability against moisture, dust and mud, with water absorption of less than 2% according to the Standard UIAA Water Repellent. It is also treated THERMO SHIELD to ensure lasting softness by perfectly aligning the internal fibres to prevent stiffness and shrinkage. Its skein-winding technology 3D LAP COIL allows for immediate use without tangling.
Made from polyamide, this certified rope EN 892 offers an excellent compromise between lightness (45 g/m) and technical performance, with a mid-point marking for enhanced security. Its PFC-free design demonstrates a commitment to the environment, reinforced by the use of materials treated to reduce environmental impact.

The treatment involves a thermal process that perfectly aligns the core and sheath wires. A special heat treatment relaxes and then shrinks the fibres of the rope. This harmonises the sliding characteristics of the strands within the rope, making it flexible and compact. The result is the creation of ropes that will not shrink retrospectively or stiffen quickly. |
