The Steripen Adventurer Opti UV is a compact and lightweight water purifier that will be very useful for all your outdoor activities. Thanks to UV light, it effectively eliminates 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and protozoa present in the water to ensure you have healthy and safe drinking water.
This model is simple and quick to use: just immerse the UV lamp in the water to be treated and activate the device. It will take between 48 and 90 seconds to purify the water. In addition, the integrated optical sensor ensures precise UV dosage, while LED indicators show you which stage of treatment you are at. Robust and waterproof, the Steripen Adventurer Opti UV is powered by two batteries CR123 that provide sufficient autonomy to treat several thousand litres of water. Finally, the neopreneprotective case included in the kit protects the purifier from knocks and scratches when you are on the move.

Ultraviolet rays completely purify clear water by destroying 99.9% of protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), bacteria and viruses. When the treatment is complete, the LED lights will flash to indicate that it is safe to begin hydration. This is only suitable for water treatment of clear water, as turbidity and sediment impair its effectiveness. |
