No subject to promotional offersThe Sum'Tec is a modular ice axe from the brand Petzl , designed for versatile use in both traditional and technical mountaineering.
The Petzl Sum'Tec is an all-purpose ice axe. Thanks to its adjustable head, it will adapt to the type of race you wish to undertake, and can even be adjusted during a race – for example, when tackling a technical section. It is also possible to add counterweights to further improve the anchoring performance. There is a quick-adjust, tool-free support block so you can make adjustments to the position of your fingers during difficult pulling sections.
The product’s advanced technicality will allow you to move forward with complete peace of mind. It Sum'Tec has a slim blade ICE so that no ice can withstand it. With its gently curved shaft, the Sum'Tec will enable you to navigate technical sections with ease when used as an anchor, whilst also being suitable for use as a walking stick for glacial walking.
It Sum'Tec will accompany you everywhere in the mountains, from glacier tongues to the most technical summits – it will be your most faithful companion!
